Every time this game is on sale and listed here, I see this comment and several others raving about it.
So I bought it to see if my kids would like it. My 7 year old daughter wouldn't stop talking about it for like 2 days.

Lego city undercover is good and what I always say is that it's fun to play with young kids because you CAN cooperate, but in most cases you can stay on mission for long periods while they goof around and go wherever. It doesn't require both players to be present in the task except when you complete a main mission or jump into a side game/race

Lego city undercover easily greatest kids game of all time. I finally bought a new console so my kids could play the Lego Star Wars game, but they probably love this one even more!
Great script and plot! I know your saying who cares it's s kids video game…, but really it's that good!

LEGO City Undercover was a Wii U exclusive with a bunch of Nintendo Easter eggs and unique gameplay, I believe that the Switch version keeps the majority of the exclusive Easter eggs from the Wii U version. Where the Xbox and PlayStation versions had that stuff removed. Making this the best version of the game.

I'm a 43 year old man, and I love these LEGO games! I really enjoyed LEGO City Undercover, and thought it would be a little lame. These are great for kids of all ages.

If you like Harry Potter and the charm of Lego games then the Harry Potter if definitely worth it. I bought it for around $5 I believe on PS5 and Xbox. Not sure how low it's ever been on Switch but $10 is a good deal for 7 movies worth of content.

It's really good for elementary aged kids, GTA for kids is the greatest comparison which makes it so much fun. Wish the world map was bigger though.
