I used my sander twice this week! For about an hour this morning. No way would I have enough batteries to run it that long. Glad it's corded.

Got this set before the pandemic I think. Same price. No regrets.

Is this a good deal?
Or should one go for battery operated option for these 2 tools?

If u have several batteries for the sander or will only do short usage def go battery but for larger projects wired is useful

I bought this same set a couple years back for the same price.

Quite pleased with them. That little router is a beast.

I paid this amount for these two tools 4 or 5 years ago. Neither tool is great or best in class but you could do worse for $50 each. I rarely need a palm sander like this. A random orbit sander is far more useful. If you're new to woodworking than this is a fine set for roundovers and small edge profiles.

I agree. Sanders work best plugged in. Battery version is ok for smaller project/touch ups. But for extended use plug in is still king for now.

I have the trim router, and love it. Used it to hang several dozen doors and it works perfectly. It's the type of use case where I prefer a corded setup.

1/4 sheet sander has no place in my toolbox, it's either DA or detail for handheld work.

Good price and right timing for my $10 off $100 coupon that expires tomorrow. Now I need a $10 filler.
