Great deal. Mine have lasted very well. Polycarbonate is the best type of "plastic" for these suitcases. Also, has the Hinomoto wheels and YKK zippers. Oh, and of course … Costco warranty.

I got Delsey at Costco. During my first trip cabin baggage handle got stuck. When I reached Delsey they wanted me to spend $60 from my pocket to their repair center. They did not offer to replace it. Customer Care service was the worst. I am never buying any Delsey products again.

Mixed reviews, and the larger suitcase is non standard size. It's a trunk.

Have the set and they've survived traveling from WA to the Philippines, Mexico and several other locations. Only thing that's broken has been a strap in the inside that holds clothes in place

Though I don't have this set of luggage, I do have an older Delsey set from Costco. One thing that I did not realize was that everyone and their mother has the same sets of luggage from Costco. Glad I had MANY unique identifiers all over my luggage to make them stick out

Does Costco have any special exclusion returns for luggage?

Looking for a new luggage set since my previous one was damaged by the airlines, so I'm weary of quality/warranty.

I read one review that the carry on is really 19" not the max 22" allowed by tsa. Is the smaller size really small or does the inside make up for it?

Here is the review
The measurements that are listed in the product description are simply WRONG.

The carry-on is supposed to be 21.4 x 14 x 9. It is, in fact, 20.5 x 13 x 9. That comes out to 2400 in^2. The max TSA size of 22 x 14 x 9 comes out to 2770 in^2. That means that the carry-on is is 15% smaller than it needs to be for TSA/airline requirements.

When I got this suitcase, I was confused because it is a LOT smaller than the carry-on I had in the past. For whatever reason, they've decided to make it smaller than needed -- which makes this a pretty useless carry-on to own. When you want to travel light, every inch counts. I wanted to get a carry-on that was the maximum allowed by the TSA -- this is not it.

The larger suitcase is 19.5" x 12" x 28", which is only slightly smaller than listed.

The new samsonite hard luggage set at costco is trash. It weighs lighter than the older set and the liner is no longer removable nor washable. Shrinkflation hitting samsonite and costco hard
I only want lighter weight especially on larger luggage especially with airlines pushing 40lb charges.

The Japanese made wheels are amazing. Great value.

I believe they are not trying to follow TSA limits here but the global limits (smaller).

The wheels broke just for one way of my trip. It was a mess while I was returning back from my trip. Bad luck I am assuming.

This is correct.
In terms of plastic hard shell materials, Polycarbonate (PC) > Polypropylene (PP) > ABS.

Never buy baggage that doesn't have built in lock. It takes less than 60 seconds to open and grab your valuable with a lock on, and you'll never notice the difference from outside.

No, it's just the port. Nothing else.
