Great deal. Mine have lasted very well. Polycarbonate is the best type of "plastic" for these suitcases. Also, has the Hinomoto wheels and YKK zippers. Oh, and of course … Costco warranty.

I got Delsey at Costco. During my first trip cabin baggage handle got stuck. When I reached Delsey they wanted me to spend $60 from my pocket to their repair center. They did not offer to replace it. Customer Care service was the worst. I am never buying any Delsey products again.

386 reviews and 4.4/5 is mixed? Seems pretty good to me. & about the same as this at 4.5/391

Never buy baggage that doesn't have built in lock. It takes less than 60 seconds to open and grab your valuable with a lock on, and you'll never notice the difference from outside.
Honest question, can't you just buy a TSA approved cable lock from Amazon? Is there any difference between using that versus a built-in lock?

It doesn't matter what kind of lock.

This is the old trick

The new trick is using a strong magnet to unlock ANY baggage locks.

Fair point.

The bad reviews were pretty bad though, like zippers splitting and wheels falling off immediately.

That won't work for a lock built into the suitcase. Have a video for the magnet one? Aluminum lock mechanism would defeat that too though.

The bad reviews for the travelers also talked about the zippers splitting.

who is opening your luggage and grabbing valuable in front of you? or are you afraid of the airline workers doing that? lol

If you are looking for security, the non-zipper type is the way to go (doesn't matter if there is a lock or not, a knife can easily get into the zipped luggage).

A TSA lock (on-luggage or a zipper chain lock) is a must for air travel if you don't want to risk getting the case sliced open by the airport staff.

My $35 29" zipper hard case doesn't come with locks and I don't bother locking it. I only use it for transporting food / souvenirs / bulky clothes / shoes / things that can be delayed / purchased / forgotten. It has been performed well for several international trips after COVID.

I normally swear by costco for EVERYTHING, but I love my luggage set from Amazon. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. I say get both and return the one you like less since both places have such great return policies if you're in need!

I just got the Delsey set. Haven't traveled with it yet, but seems great for the price. Very solid and I think the trunk shape makes more sense than the typical larger check bag shape (a little narrower but fatter, so you can stack more clothes). It's 59 linear inches on the exterior so no issue with airline requirements. A few inches shy of the limit if you're really looking to maximize space, but I find weight is much more of an issue than space when flying.
No clue what Hinomoto wheels are, but the Delsey wheels seem solid/durable.

Highly recommend!

I prefer zipties. TSA replaces them if and when they cut it.

How come?
You put your power bank inside and connected to the charge port that way you don't have to use any charging ports at the airport etc. Safer.. Eh.. I guess but that's the idea here. It's not any different that the power bank in your purse/backpack

I'll be honest, I didn't look at the other luggage.

I think the push to 4 wheel design and hardshell for budget luggage has been a negative to durability all around.
