full disclosure/weird story: I bought a different Wimitools connector kit that was prominently labeled "Wago", but that listing (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0CQ6YVTLJ/) has since been scrubbed of all uses of the word "Wago". I contacted them and they confirmed that the connectors are Wagos (they said "we are just repackaging"), so I don't know why they removed the brand name from the listing. There is one review on that listing that claimed the connectors were not Wagos (based on a 3% size difference?), so perhaps they wanted to start a new listing and hope for better reviews. I can't tell a difference between the ones from that pack and other Wagos I've purchased from other sellers. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
1 - Fail and cause the field device to stop working, work intermittently, or damage the field device.
2 - Fail and trip a breaker.
3 - Fail and cause a fire.
I'm not going to say "knock-off or unlisted electrical connectors will cause your home to catch fire with near certainty" - but there is a chance.
With how aggressive insurers are becoming as they experience significant financial losses, installing unlisted (non UL/CE) hardware could become more risky than the cost savings when you consider the chance of a claim denial after State Farm buys your Amazon purchase history.
A thought like that previously would only come to somebody wearing a tinfoil hat, but with how quickly computing is moving there's no guessing where we'll end up.

They will even go so far as to check the wiring on outlets. If there is reverse polarity or if there isn't a gfci outlet near a water line then they will deny coverage or claims. The reverse polarity is more common than you think.

Home Depot switched to carrying wagos.
We bought an old house in January. I was up in the upper crawlspace upgrading some lighting.
Whomever ran the wire used some 12G outdoor wire. Stiff as all getout. They twisted the wires together.
I literally put my finger on one of the wire nuts to LIGHTLY nudge it to the side to look around one of the boxes, and the hot wire just broke. Just SPROING and instead of a five minute wiring job it took hours to redo it without any wire nuts, just Wago brand connectors.
Anyway these are great for the homeowner, especially for stranded wire that has a habit of just binding up and making a ball when you try to use wire nuts. Wagos shine when you might have to change wiring quickly, and also in tight spaces where twisting wire in a nut is a PITA.
These aren't economical for the pros though. It might not mean much for the average homeowner but if you're going through hundreds of connections, the cost difference adds up, so I don't blame contractors for still using wire nuts which can be had for pennies apiece.
I had an issue initially with them releasing (14 or 12 wire in home use) and discovered it was user error, basically I wasn't stripping the wire correctly (if you don't strip enough it causes issues), and make sure you actually press down the lever, don't just let it fall down naturally. Then I usually tug on the wire a bit.

But this is a high-risk situation. Counterfeits are extremely common on scAmazon due to inventory commingling, and counterfeit mains electrical products have a very real risk of catastrophic failure -- possibly leading to fire.
This is not something where you should pinch pennies looking for a bargain. Buy from a reputable source that does not have a risk of fakes.
