As mentioned on another post, these are super soft but the collar starts to curl after a few washes.

Better price with s&s - with my 15%, down to $9.00 for 3 highly rated t-shirts! Thanks, phoinix - have given you so many reps, not allowing me to do more!

Does anyone have experience tie-dying these? (Wondering if (or how much) the spandex affects the result)

Thinking of this myself, at only 5% spandex, it should be completely fine

For this price it is still a good value, but I bought for the first time during the previous SD deal and one of the has uneven stitching on one side/shoulder, too obvious, warping the surface. For $6-$7 dollars, on sale, pure white color is a good deal. We don't dry clean those and after 5-6 washes shirts lose that snow white color.

Bought 5 of these 5-6 years. My favorite T shirt. Feels good. Still holding . wear them as a shirt. the spandex part helps alot. a couple are just starting to get holes now----i bleach my whites, washed 100 times or more. would say they run a tad small,

Also, went to 2 walmarts this week. both were clearancing out name brand t shirts. at 50- 75% off. Bought some out.

Retailers make it stupid hard for you to figure out which Gildan shirt they're selling. White shirt! Cheap! Buy it now! Who cares!

We (being my wife) paid more than I wanted to for packs of the G2000 this year, which is 6 oz 100% cotton. I found some alternative prices to hers, but it was too late. Sorry, didn't save the links.

Playing musical model numbers doesn't help - they don't seem to even advertise this model, so it sounds like it's a contract job. Amazon "questions" say it feels like it's 4-5 oz.

I would expect a fiber reactive dye to be 95% as dark as it would have been on 100% cotton.

I actually really like Gildan brand shirt for the most part. The thing is they have a ton of different t shirts they make. They all look the same in pictures. Can not tell if these are exactly the same ones I got from a slick deal before but the ones I got were super thin. I'm talking thin thin thin! I saw them and didn't like them right away but I wore them and they seemed ok but they are not in my white shirt drawer anymore so I'm sure they only lasted a wash or two. I'm not sure how many people here are wearing white shirts almost every day for about 20+ years now but if you remember the Stafford brand shirts from the dress clothing section at JC pennies(to wear under dress shirts with suits) those were and probably are the best white shirts ever. They were always expensive and with inflation must be super expensive now days. They last forever are super comfortable and fairly thick but not too thick perfect shirts in my opinion. Kirkland brand shirts are my go to and basically the same as the Stafford's at a way better price.

Man, those were the best. The made in Honduras weren't too bad either. The last ones I bought were made in India and I really don't care for them. I wish I could go back and stockpile. Have you found anything that compares? I hate the way most white t-shirts fit or feel.
