Great deal. But one thing I HATE about Uber gift card credit is they don't use it for anywhere that doesn't operate in the same currency as your gift card.....so basically, these gift card credits will not ever be used for rides outside the US, which is my primary use.

I receive $25 in Uber Cash per month through my Amex cards. I'm curious: if I buy $100 in gift cards, will Uber use my $25 Uber Cash first, then pull from the $100 gift card credit second? I'd hate to lose my $25 credit if I don't spend $125 this month

Exactly. I was shadow banned from Uber Eats last year. It would've been awful to maintain my $1,700 gift card balance (85% on $2,000) during that.

yes, amex cash will be used first.

I think they had them last Nov/Dec for the same price. 20% off is as good as it gets. its like finding a 4 leaf clover. 10% is the norm these days.
