The Samsung Q60C QLED is an entry-level TV in Samsung's 2023 lineup and is the lowest-end model in their QLED, or Quantum Dot LED lineup. It sits below the Samsung Q70C QLED, replacing the Samsung Q60B QLED from 2022. As an entry-level model, it's limited in features as it doesn't have local dimming, HDMI 2.1 bandwidth, or variable refresh rate (VRR) support.

The Samsung QE1C is a Samsung store online exclusive that performs the same, but it's only available in 70-inch and 85-inch sizes.

Is this better deal than the 85" Sony x80K that was on sale recently? I ordered that but wondering if this is better?

Hoping someone can chime in with their opinions on 85" TVs.

The industry is obviously pushing for this as the next hotness size, are you actually buying 85" Tvs? It seems like a huge hassle to buy, transport, install and move.

I would have thought mainstream Tvs would stop growing at 65". I can buy, pickup, install, move a 65" by myself with some slight difficulty. An 85" means a truck and a second person is mandatory. The way they are built to be disposable nowadays means you probably have to do it multiple times in a few years...

recently got the sony 85. My first of this size and I'd consider it a pretty big upgrade, but I've always been on the side of bigger is better. I'd get a 120" screen if they offered a decent one for a good price. I installed a 70" alone and I would say the 85 is near impossible to do alone. If you have 2 people it's not much different than a 70" install. It barely fit in my truck and needed tie downs. I had the help of my small wife to get it loaded in the house and on the wall. Getting the height correct makes a pretty big difference imo.

I'll be sitting 15ft away from the TV. According to all the distance calculators, I'll need an 85". After measuring, going to the store, putting tape on my wall simulating the size differences, it's true that an 85" (or larger) would be the best size. I love it, I hate it, but it's what I'm doing.
