S maybe little tighter for you, but the problem is that sleeves are too long for me in M. I normally don't have this sleeve problem with other brand. What you can do is to order M first, if it doesn't fit, then return M, and reorder S. You have to pay $6 for shipping back, but if there is a Columbia store (like outlet store) close to you, you can take it to the store without charge.
