In case you have a small balance remaining, I just found out the minimum amount to reload Amazon gift cards have been raised to $5.00 (previously $1).

These are very hard to liquidate unless you plan to convert to something like Amazon or Walmart giftcards. I'm still trying to spend $300 because so many retailers reject them. They can't be added to PayPal or Google Pay to use in-store. Some utilities may accept them, but it's a lot of work to spend.

Please be aware that if you plan to use these virtual Visa cards to buy Walmart gift cards, you can only use them to buy physical gift cards to be delivered to your home. You cannot use them to buy Walmart eGift cards.

Not so long ago, Walmart switched its delivery company from FedEx to a no-name company. Unfortunately I was not aware of that until it was too late as I never had any issue with physical gift cards delivered by FedEx nor had anything stolen from my door (I work from home).

Last week, I ordered a physical gift card from walmart.com. This new delivery company stole my gift card from the envelope in Tennessee during a 3-hour stop shown on the tracking information. When the empty envelope was delivered to my door in Texas, I immediately reported the stolen card to walmart.com. I was promised to receive the replacement card but nothing was sent after 3 days. When I called again, I learned that Walmart did not deactivate the gift card I reported stolen and still let the thief use it at a store in Tennessee 3 hours after I reported it stolen. Now they have refused to send replacement card claiming that the card has been used after delivery. I have made 5 calls to walmart.com including their managers and their gift card department, they still refused to replace the stolen gift card.

This appears to be an inside job and an organized crime most likely involving walmart.com and delivery company as a team because the thief knew to use the gift card only after the status was marked as delivered and walmart.com purposely did not deactivate the gift card after I reported it as stolen. I am trying very hard to fight this organized crime as one person against the entire organization. Any suggestion and help would be greatly appreciated.

Please do not order anything from walmart.com.

So much hate for these deals. If you have the patience, it adds up. I paid 10k in student loans with these. That's $400, 15k miles and about $200 in TJMaxx gift cards from a cash back site

Because they are ignorant and they have no clue how good this deal really is.

Even at break even price I'd max out on purchases from this and Staples. But with $4.05 discount per $100, plus 3% cash back from BoA and another 1% from cash back site, it's a must buy for me.

I know people who go to brothel in NV and use the $200 MC purchased from Staples. They basically got the experience for free with some trick that can only be done with this type of card.

No they are not, they are prepaid virtual debit cards. Many retailers reject these cards due to fraud. They are notoriously difficult to spend.

Again, it's $4.05 discount so times 3 that's $12.15 and not $15.

You can get additional cash back from cash back sites. But I just pay this with Paypal which BoA will give me 3%.

I make enough money that $4 savings isn't going to bankrupt me. Maybe that's an issue for you. Not worth sitting on these giftcards. You've been warned.

Their process let me register a card without putting in my state. This caused confusion when I was trying to use it, as in the card kept getting rejected by Costco com. I contacted them and they put the blame on me and said I could not use the card for 7-10 days because there was a hold put on it due to the failed attempts to use it. learn from my mistake- be extra careful what address you put down during registration, as their gui/site sucks.

It's not 4%, it's $4.
If you want to get 4% you have to spend $100 and that's still only 4$, and you have to buy multiple cards to get more.. I am genuinely curious what secrets people are talking about that gives you better rewards without headache of carrying many cards with risk of losing them.
$4 plus 3% from CC plus 2% from CC cashback site.

I spent almost an hour on this. Tried to use PayPal, various credit cards to buy just one $100 with the discount.
In response to all my attempts I got email
"We had to cancel your order #1XXXXXXX because it didn't pass our screening process. Online security is important—like really important—so we take every measure we can to protect the people shopping with us."
