These are the Govee.com coupons mentioned the most by Slickdeals users:
SPLASH-CAD 12% off (confirmed on various sensors, light strips, etc)
BOOM 10% off (confirmed on most products)
TAKE5 $5 off per unit (better than the welcome offer, confirmed on various products)
So we don't rehash lessons from previous Govee deal threads:
- Govee is a Chinese brand, but they tend to have exceptional quality, outstanding customer service/warranty, and many fans on SD, which is why they consistently hit the Front Page.
- Their Bluetooth only devices often pair with Govee WiFi hubs for their other products, allowing remote access to your devices out of the house and on the app. For example, their BT hygrometers connect to the v2 water sensor WiFi hub.
- There are no international transaction fees even though Chase says it's international.
- The warranty experience is much better when you buy direct, as opposed through Amazon. Your order is directly tied to the app, meaning you can initiate a recall of a defective unit with free shipping directly through the Govee app with one click; no phone calls or hassle.

$150? It's essentially a light strip inserted into a vertical bar.
Won't knock govee as I like their products but their pricing strategies are just way out there in terms of reasonable pricing.
Aside:
The new Govee Lamp 2 with matter was priced at $100 with $50 off on govee not long back.
I bought it. Despite all efforts, I just could not find it to be adequate for my needs, it's simply not bright enough. I had a friend bring over his Philips hue, a similar product but it costs more than three times the cost of the govee. We did several side by side comparisons. The hue was significantly better for brightness and color accuracy. The govee when at its full brightness had somewhat washed out colors.
I ended up returning the govee and will get the hue whenever it goes on sale.
Again, this was just my use case scenario, perhaps the govee would be just the right fit for you. Good luck.

would you say the extra cost is worth it?

I have this Lyra lamp and a Hue signe table lamp.
My Hue Signe table lamp is better built, brighter and more color accurate than this floor lamp lol
The Govee App, even if you disregard the privacy nightmare that it is, is a jumbled mess of a UI compared to Hue's.
