I have the Bosch cordless vacuum and that thing is handy. I'm really happy with it, but I don't know where Bosch gets off rating it at 7HP?! Not even close.

I'm glad to see the return of the free battery deal, but I don't need another charger.

the vacuum, sander, and hammer drills are good.

the recip saw is ok vs the whole recip saw class, seems like a low performer.

I do love their vacuum and sander. probably some of the best

This deal has been going on for a while. Lowe's is funky whenever it comes to the 8ah battery deals. Good deal though. It is like getting the saw for free as the battery is tops and the charger is 16A. The starter kit is $150ish on amazon.

Will keep my eye out for bosch deals involving 2 batteries (4ah or 8ah combos) like they have done in the past. They released their tabless batteries a couple of months ago in Europe. RIDGID just announced a similar move a month ago. I am sure the BOSCH would want to clear out these batteries or their prices dropping once the new design batteries come to the US.

When I look at the bare tools the only option the banner mentions is the 4Ah battery not the 8Ah????

The Recip saw with the 8ah battery is still available at Store # 0692 Piscataway, NJ. I already have the saw a bunch of the 4ah, 8ah and 12ah batteries so I didn't go through the check out process. Last year Amazon had a great BOGO battery deal on the 8ah and 12ah battery but I need the Profactor tools in order maximize the benefits which I haven't seen any sales on them.

picked up the blower with 4ah kit. receipt breaks out individual items. blower definitely worth ~$30 if I decide return battery by 90 days.

blower: $27.37
4ah kit: $51.63
