I see your point, but the vulnerabilities were primarily due to user errors. Many issues happened because users didn't keep their products and firmware updated. For instance, some users continued using Wyze Cam v1, which no longer receives security updates, making it vulnerable

– Wyze Labs, Inc.. Additionally, several vulnerabilities required local network access, meaning users exposed their networks to risks by not securing their setups properly

– Wyze Labs, Inc.. Using weak passwords and not enabling two-factor authentication also contributed to these problems .

Everyone one of your links either 404 or 403... I don't know how users are responsible for loading their apps and getting other people's feeds... Try again clown. This was wyze failure to keep their databases clean because AWS issues

When valid arguments run dry, the famous "clown" word makes an appearance, lol.

I purchased these during the last sale and returned them the next day.
I fully charged them, did the update's, installed an sd card, set it to record to sd card, changed the quality to 2k and even got the cam unlimited plan.
The bitrate and compression is so bad I couldn't make my own face out from 5 ft away.
These cameras look great when live viewing them, but the recorded quality is worse than 480p.
I got these last year on a 2 for $100 deal. It's currently mounted on my front yard tree trunk about 8ft off the ground. I park my car about 8 meters away on the side of the road. Can't even read my own license plate on live stream not even after i zoom or switch to 2k res, it's so pixelated... sigh. I noticed the signal strength isn't that great, it shows that it fluctuates between 1/3-2/3 bars based on the wyze app, might try to move my router closer to the vicinity this week. Only good enough to keep yourself aware of any suspicious activities down the street but won't get any finer details from such low res.

According to reviews, this has a microSD slot so you can store recordings locally without the need to pay for a monthly subscription.

Battery life up to 6 months, but will only last around 2 weeks if recording continuously
Been using these for last few months, I have them schedule to turn on only for 9 hours straight each each day and when away from home. It's mounted on a tree that has some low hanging branches with leaves that will trigger the camera as motion detected regularly (no subscription). They last about 21 days before the battery drops from 100% to 8-13%. Then i'll recharge them (takes roughly 7 hours to charge to 100, i never actually timed it)

Although the camera has a light, i don't think i've ever used it or need it to be on since the front of the house already has enough light for me to see recordings clear enough
