I ordered the Elmo and Cookie Monster version of these from Walmart about a month ago and both had sewn on plastic eyes (despite the photos showing fabric) which I think is why they come with a choking warning.

Toy says it's for ages 18 months and up but it also says only ages 3 years and older due to chocking hazard?
