Is 3600 lumens bright enough? Asking for a friend.

Depends on Lumen or Ansi Lumen.

3,600 should be good for a room without direct sunlight and if it's on a screen or not

Would this be good for a golf simulator? Everybody gets the benq tk700sti. I figured closer to the screen would help with any ambient light

You would need an ALR screen for this, not sure you'd want to hit golf balls into it. It also would be placed on the ground or a table, so would be in the way. Traditional projectors are still the way to go for l golf simulators.

Great info, thank you. I didn't realize an ALR screen was recommended for UST projectors. I wasnt overly worried about hitting it because i had planned to build some sort of protection/cage for the projector if iit sat on the ground. Even the short throws will be between me and the screen 10 feet away, so they will need it as well. This project is much more complicated than i thought.
