You do have a good point but it's on their page for E-GC. At the bottom of the product page.

Offer details: Offers subject to change, not combinable with all other offers, while supplies last. Dell may impose a purchase quantity limit (for example, 5 units per order). Taxes, shipping, and other fees apply. Free shipping offer valid only in Continental U.S. (excludes Alaska and P.O. Box addresses). Offer not valid for Resellers. Dell reserves the right to cancel orders arising from pricing or other errors. Dell Promo eGift Card: Receive Dell Promo eGift Card sent via email within 20 days. Expires 90 days from issuance. Resellers excluded.

The speakers are "unremarkable" - looks like downward facing 1/2 drivers. Because of the base reflection to your ears, you'll probably have to turn the volume up slightly relative to most upward facing laptop speakers.
Otherwise, your expectations sound quite reasonable and you won't be disappointed.

Is this good to work from home? I bought a ViewSonic and found text to be very grainy. I use a Windows laptop so hope flickering won't happen?

Since you have this monitor, could I ask how the built-in speakers compare to your laptop speakers?
I'm not looking for high quality, I just need something that is as good as (or better) than the laptop speakers.
Thanks in advance!

Keep in mind this is a dell GC-only can be used for dell purchases. Unsure about expiration-shouldn't be since it's GC

Dell Promo GCs suck. It's classic Dell doing some shitty consumer practice by having a 90 day expiry on a gift card. They call it a gift card to trick people to thinking it won't while the word "voucher" is far more appropriate.

You can not use dell gift cards on price matched orders. You can not use more than one gift card per order. I'm confident you can't use it in outlet (you can't use their dell reward points and also this is Dell, they'll do anything to make it hard for you to get rid of their gift cards hoping it'll expire)

The 27" 1080p also has a good promo, $150, I assume monitors10 brings it down to $135, $75 dell promo gift card - https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/d...ccessories

edit: I'd also like to add: who else likes this mandatory 2FA that dell implemented. That you can't change from email to phone or an app. And you can't disable on repeat sign-ins on the same computer. And you still can't check a "Remember Me" to stay signed in. And the kicker is, they did this in response to their data breach. The 2FA doesn't stop Dell from being data breached. Dell also says that they didn't get email or passwords so why would 2FA help a personal data breach? And someone with the data breach info, if they did get your login, won't be signing in from your personal computer where you disabled 2FA on repeat sign ins. I mean it's clearly a panic scramble and incredibly misguided attempt to save the very little face Dell has but it's been almost a month and they haven't improved the 2FA experience that I am aware of. Phew, sorry, I needed to get that off my chest.

Don't expect to get great value on that GC within that 90 day window

They want $16 for a basic mouse that doesn't have forward/back buttons lol

I I'll just get a Switch pro controller. It may take a bit to find something, but there is stuff and Dell does price match if you want to take the time.
