For folks who remember the Big Muff sound or are looking for something of that sort, this pedal is not that at all.

This pedal is basically two Fuzz Face pedals with extra tweakable controls added. It's a high-gain two-transistor fuzz (i.e. Fuzz Face) going into a low gain two-transistor fuzz/overdrive.

From the most comprehensive website on Big Muff variants:
"This is literally a fuzz tone lab. No deep, scooped mids, or huge Big Muff tones here."

Edited with archive link because Kitrae's site is down.

Have to warn the newbies- this is not going to be an easy pedal to jump into. It's going to be noisy, and germanium fuzz does not react well with filter effects. You'll need to really dial it in depending on the type of pickups you're using, and most likely you'll want a noise gate for the residual hum inherent with germanium circuits.

Broken link.
It looks like every link to their website is down, that wasn't the case yesterday.

Anyway, it was written by this person:

This is a 14 years old product, is it still worth buying?
If you are asking this question, then you definitely don't need it, yet. Young grasshopper.

Great fuzz, run the distortion hot, high volume, 11-12 o'clock on the volts, and mid gain/low volume on the overdrive side. Turn your pickups all the way down and slowly bring it up to you're liking. My pickup volume is usually at around 3-4 w/humbuckers. Does not do so well with active pickups, at least that I could dial in.
