Not a deal. There are so many e-bikes under 2k that are much better options than this ebike.

https://youtu.be/H_K4hXvCLBI?si=qc_ZIW6KcJVBM09Z

Edited: To add more specific information due to all the downvotes.

You have to really want these exact components/specs to justify this specific ebike for $1999. There are much better options with higher performance & overall better value e-bikes available for your dollar, with much higher performance motors and larger capacity batteries for the same $1999 price or less. Just so you have an idea of what else is currently available on the ebike market and you can decide what to purchase for yourself. There are new e-bikes being pushed out constantly by a large variety of companies and the ebike market is ever changing due to the competition in the space and newer technologies being introduced & incorporated on a regular basis. Here are a few options to look at or at least consider before purchasing this Priority Current ebike for $1999 just off the top of my head.

Lectric ONE eBike - $1999
Gates Carbon Drive System w/app
Pinion C1.6i six-speed sealed weatherproof Automatic shifting European designed gearbox w/app ($1499 value automatic transmission like bike gearbox, ie. the ebike shifts gears automatically)
750w motor capable of 1,310 watts of peak power
500wh 48v 10.8ah UL certified battery (upgradable to a ~35% larger capacity 672wh 14ah battery for $200 more)
Additional batteries can also be purchased separately from Lectric & are relatively the most affordable batteries on the ebike market compared to most other ebike companies.
Additional batteries for more range:
$299 - 48v 10ah battery

$500 - 48v 14ah battery

"The Lectric ONE is where unparalleled creativity and world-class automotive technology converge to create a maintenance-free and truly effortless commute. A symphony of high-performance componentry from the smart shifting Pinion gearbox and the Gates Carbon Drive Belt orchestrates a masterpiece - shaping an eBike unlike any other. An aerodynamic frame, color display, and city tires take this riding experience to the next level while hydraulic brakes, brake-activated taillights, and reflective strips offer safety beyond compare."

Noteable e-bikes I would also consider under $1300 for sheer value purposes.

ANIIOKI eBike,AQ177 PRO MAX Electric Bike,48/52V 60Ah Electric Commuting Bike,200Miles Long Range, Peak 1200W Power Ebike, Electric Bicycle for Adults

(Largest 48v 60ah 2,880 watt hour battery in the value ebike market currently)

$999 + $300 shipping on Amazon - https://a.co/d/jb482yk

Any ebike under $1300 from Aventon, Lectric, RadPower, Ride1Up, etc… would all have larger batteries (500+wh), higher wattage motors (750+ watts). I would easily consider anything from Lectric over this ebike. There are definitely much better value ebikes in terms of battery capacity(range), higher power electric motors, etc…. available if you look around and aren't hard pressed on having these specific components (Gates Belt Drive, Mid-drive motor, etc..)

There are also e-bikes under $700 with a better dollar to performance ratio value available than the Priority Current, most of which you can find right here on Slickdeals.

To be clear, I am not 100% knocking the "deal", but in my opinion there are better options available for less or the same price.
I have the CVT version of this bike. If you are looking for a bicycle type electric motorcycle, look elsewhere. This is an ELECTRICALLY ASSISTED BICYCLE, not an electrically powered two wheeled vehicle that also has pedals. If you want a nice standard bicycle that will increase your riding enjoyment and capabilities for riding into the wind or up hills this is about as good as they get. It is fairly quiet, very low maintenance, and light weight for an PAS bicycle. The battery is not very large, and for the intended purpose it doesn't need to be. As a result this bicycle is lighter than most. The internal geared hub does not need cleaning or lubrication like external geared systems. The belt will outlast most riders. This bicycle will give a rider an enhanced standard bicycle experience with less maintenance than a standard geared bicycle.

It is not a scooter or low powered electric motorcycle. It won't go across sand, off road, it doesn't have suspension. It won't go anywhere unless you pedal it! Again, and it cannot be stressed enough, this is a very refined electrically enhanced standard style bicycle. In that role it is a very good value, it works well, and is nicely made. If you are looking for a motorized experience and not a more versatile bicycle look elsewhere!

The motor can be used to increase your pedaling speed up to 28MPH when accompanied by pedaling (I have mine set to Class 1 = 20 MPH assist), it is not really optimized for going fast all the time (larger battery would be better suited). Consider that unless you are a very fit cyclist, you are not going to be taking a standard bicycle for extended rides at over 15MPH. Don't believe me, borrow a friend's ebike or standard bike, (turn off the motor if an ebike) ride it a mile and get your average speed. It may surprise you that you are going to see a number like 13mph! If you wish to get out there on rides and standard bicycle speed and have an enjoyable ride, and be able to go up hills or ride into winds without straining more than you would on a nice day on a flat road, you will love this thing. It lacks a throttle (not a really a problem for this bicycle type). If you get really tired or a cramp etc. You can crank up the PAS level and basically just spin the crank with almost no effort and get to your destination, but this is not the intent of the bicycle.

In conclusion. Your 15 year old kid will most likely be greatly disappointed in this machine. As an adult, I LOVE MINE. It increases the BICYCLING EXPERIENCE 1000%. Finally I am not a "hater" of motorized two wheelers. I have a motorcycle and a high performance electric scooter. Each of these I enjoy a lot. They are different design optimized for different riding intents.
Maybe, but likely not. Belt drive, mid-drive (not hub), hydraulic brakes and from Costco. Lots of pluses there that I dont see elsewhere at this price point. 500W is a little skimpy, but that alone is not enough to thumbs down this deal.

A typical cyclist outputs around 100 watts. Why do so many people think that five times that is not enough?

Which one of those has a mid drive motor with 140 NM of torque, a gates belt drive, and Costco's return policy?

Not to mention this is a mid drive and is much more powerful than a rear drive 500w motor. 140 NM of torque is insane.

Does anyone know if this would be considered part of electronics? If so, maybe not the best deal.IF it is covered under Costco's general warranty, this would be a fantastic deal.

Electronics: Costco will accept returns within 90 days (from the date the member received the merchandise) for Televisions, Projectors, Major Appliances (refrigerators above 10 cu. ft., freezers, ranges, cooktops, over-the-range and under-counter microwaves, range hoods, dishwashers, water heaters, washers and dryers), Computers, Touchscreen Tablets, Smart Watches, Cameras, Aerial Cameras (drones), Camcorders, MP3 players and Cellular Phones (return details will vary by carrier service contract).
E-Bikes are not on that list, so the general return policy should apply.

After getting an ebike for myself that people were poopooing for being too weak at 250w I have come to realize most people talking online about an "ebike" really want a moped with pedals that they don't actually need to use to make it move.

Im quite happy with my 250w mid drive motor. It makes it still feel like biking but takes off the edge on any incline and makes easy to maintain high speed on the flats. The motor in this bike is a monster for a commuter bike like this and at this price point.

I own a 750w hub fat bike and 250w hyper "e-mtb". More power lets you accelerate faster and hit a higher top speed. If I want to get there not sweaty I can just throttle and not even pedal at all. It's good for carrying cargo or whatever else. If I just want to go from A-B or carry something it is much better overall. Don't think it would be anywhere near as compelling with much less power.
The lower power bike is much lighter and applies power much more intuitively so it is nicer to ride as trails get more steep and curvy. It feels more like a non-powered bike. The low gear driven by mid-drive allow for it to climb more rugged terrain than the fat bike. It's more than enough power to get places but adding more would always be welcome as long as it doesn't increase the weight too much.
This bike for sale in the post here has 2x the power of my mid drive bike and weighs a couple pounds less so I think it would feel pretty powerful.
