If you enjoy TB, you can add the gift cards to the app. Good way to guarantee a discount for a few months if you can afford to front the $$$.

This is roughly a 17% discount ($60 worth of gift cards for $50) on all future orders paid for with these cards.

You have to buy a special $50 physical gift card in a Taco Bell that apparently has instructions with it on how to redeem a $10 eGift card.

In previous years, they've run some gift card promo online around June, but not this time.

I remember this from last time; forget exactly the details on how it works. All I can remember is the manager didn't know anything about it and he didn't need to because you can make sure you get teh correct "promotional" gift card and if you follow the instruction, you got the reward easily and could spend it in the app.

just did this promo yesterday; it's just a cardboard backer, not a "holder" as the in-store signage implies; employee had to get her manager to get the cards, and mentioned that they were running low? she was misinformed about how it worked, though (she thought you had to add the card in the app and then it would do something special and send you the bonus, which is incorrect).

after buying the gc you actually just go to tacobellbonus.com [tacobellbonus.com] and you enter the gc number in there and your email, and it'll send to you after five or ten minutes. it's unclear whether it has to be one of the "special" design gift cards (just different art) that's attached to the card, or if any $50 gc will do. it also took more than a few minutes for the balance from the bonus gc to show correctly in my app (but was able to verify the balance at the regular taco bell gift card site).

wife had some trouble loading hers into her taco bell app (she has an iphone) and it kept erroring, but the website worked fine.

hope this helps!!

$60 at Taco Bell will get you lunch twice!
Seems that way now, I stopped going there when they raised the price of the build your own craving box from 5.99 to 7.99, Been going to the places that have better deals, I check the apps for wendys, del taco, burger king, and get the free chick-fil-a sandwich when that comes along. And today I got the panda express 5.00 dodger deal, taco bell just too pricey and I do have 12.00 gift card on my account there, just kinda dont wanna pay that higher price.

From reading other TC posts, each store can have different pricing. At my stores, both My Cravings boxes are still $5.99. That price is thru the app. It could also be more without the app.
Put a cravings box into your app cart, then switch it to a different store. See if the pricing changes for any of them Wink

I have had a small balance gift card on my account that I've been trying to use. For whatever reason, Taco Bell doesn't use this small balance and goes onto the next gift card I have. Weird glitch but it's prevented me from buying more gift cards recently.

And for the record, YES, I always select both gift cards when paying for the online order. The system recognizes it in the summary before I submit, but ultimately never uses it.

Really curious what will happen when I try to order but don't have enough of a balance with this "glitch" on my account..... (current expectation is that the small balance is not used and will forever remain on my account.)

Taco Bell (& many other fast food restaurants) prices are putting them in a bad position. They are often within the price range of a higher quality option. I like to choose a locally owned mexican restaurant. Lunch specials are sometimes lower. YMMV. I thoroughly enjoy Taco Bell, but $60 is a commitment. I'm not ready for a relationship right now.
