Got a r15 4090 13900k for $1,900 open box on microcenter. If it wasnt for this, I would had bought this instead
Holy cow what a steal. Had a similar case sans window in an R12 and I loathe it but for those specs, 100% would have gotten that.

How easy or difficult does Alienware make to add new hardware to the motherboard (in terms of driver support)?
Dell computers are notoriously difficult to add RAM to. They use proprietary motherboards. Storage upgrades usually aren't an issue, but don't expect loads of storage options either.

This models GPU, Motherboard and Power Supply are all proprietary. I was going to get it but after finding that out it was a hard pass.
That being said the new chips will be out soon, new npu and all that will depreciate older gens quick.
