Hopefully cheaper next week as the 5% back that Chase had expires on 15th? 16th?

Will hold off to see how cheaper before plunking $200 on this

I learned the lesson, never MSI again for me, was not worth the problems
Good thing about this LG monitor is it falls under Costco's "Risk-Free 100% Satisfaction Guarantee" return policy so there is no 90 day time limit.. easy in store return vs dealing with any possible return/shipping/warranty issues with Dell.

Where is the G2724d on sale for $160?

Thanks.
Just installed mine. At $160 it's a steal. I recommend everyone go on the dell site and check that before buying this one

The LG 27GR75Q-B and the Dell G2724D are both 27-inch budget gaming monitors. However, the Dell is the better choice for most people. The Dell gets far brighter in HDR and SDR and is better at overcoming glare. The Dell also has better motion handling, so fast-moving objects look more crisp. Finally, the Dell supports VRR with the PS5, and the LG doesn't.

Bought this monitor on sale from Costco back in March for $230. I highly recommend this monitor. Only downside is there is some color banding, but other than the very few times I notice it, it's great! I've had a 240 hz monitor before this one, and while I did notice a difference going down, it's not bad at all. Still pretty dang smooth. The HDR gives it better colors than the standard IPS LCD screen I was using before. They look great. The 27" screen size is perfect, coming from 24.5". It's large, but not too large. Something that was important to me was the look of the monitor. SO many gaming monitors look really dumb, to me at least. This monitor has a minimal look that's not too loud. The power cable is kind of thin tangled, and the power brick is pretty big, but it's not a big deal.

So yeah, other than the color banding in a few cases, I'm couldn't be happier with this purchase. If you're on a budget this is a great monitor. It's really a great monitor even just on its own, without considering the price.

I love this monitor! I have the 32" variant. After some settings adjustments, playing games on it is a dream 🙌.

I use to get headaches at 100hz, not sure why, after getting this and putting it up to 144-165hz, I was able to play games longer till my arm hurts. Maybe I'm just getting old 😩.
Does costco also sell a 32" version of it ?

I was looking at this way back. If you live near a microcenter you can get the 27" hyper X which is a better monitor and comes with an adjustable arm system for like $175

I don't disagree with anything you said, but would just like to point out that neither of these monitors will provide a satisfying HDR experience, most would be better off sticking to SDR.
