Anybody can comment on this grill? Pro & cons? The reviews say igniter issues & some say won't get or 250 degrees? Also this is the old version…the new version is 399… what the extra 100 bucks for?

The quality of the pro with thermostatic controls looks way better in person and felt higher quality.
I ended up passing on this grill because of the plastic trim pieces. Just felt cheap.
For the price it's a lot of cooking space and the advertised BTUs is very good, assuming it puts out.
Looks like it's available again. I used to own this grill. It's a great grill for this price. Heavy duty didn't have any rust problems from when I owned it. Started every time for me. I could get this grill around 600deg if I turn up all 4 burners on high. I think the gap in the back is a little wide though (looks like they fixed this in the new version). Also the screws come loose if you're going to roll it around, I would recommend some thread lock when putting together for the first time.
I currently use this grill. I purchased it last summer at the same price to replace my 2 burner Weber. Loved my Weber but didnt want to spend over $1,000 on a larger one. I've been happy with this one and havent had any issues. It heats up quickly when all 4 burners are on. I have no rust but I make sure to use the cover that came with it when not in use.
Purchased 2 last November for $199 each and just cooked ribs on it today. Easily reaches 700 degrees on high settings given a little time. Pleased with it myself.

Bought a month ago for 499. Went on sale and I bought for be 399 and planned to return it since Sam's won't price match... Just ordered this for shipping and will return the other 2. Lots of leg work but worth $200 the savings.
Bought this for same price a few months ago and solid price. It cost me $10 to upgrade my membership that is now expired in order to avoid $110 shipping. Very happy with it so far. It heats up slower than my old grill, but will get and stay hot. I think that is because there is so much more metal in it.

Was it the newer version you got ..with the bbq button ? Or this older version you got for 499?
