i have this phone. others have said that the battery life is good, but thats not the experience i have had with it, the battery runs down really quickly. the other thing i dont like is that the screen on max brightness is not bright enough when outside. the phone takes ok photos, not great, but good enough. it comes with a thin plastic screen protector already installed. even though the processor is older, it is a snappy phone.
screen brightness is 690 nits on the Nord vs over 1,000 on the Samsung A54 plus has the AMOLED screen vs Nord's LCD. Sam A54 has IP67 (excellent) rating vs the Nord with nothing, zero so even a splash will kill it. The Sam A54 is on Cricket at $59.99 with a 6 month unlock. The Pixel 6A is $199. on Total and unlocks in 60 days.
Day time good light photos are good with stock cam app. Gcam is better in low light but i have to hold the phone still for 30-60 sec depending on amount of light. It's not fun. I don't take pics in very low light.
Gcam is worthless for action/movement. It's really just another type of HDR.
i hate this phone. i have both the cph2515 (single sim) and cph2513 (dual sim) versions. both have the same exact problems. maps apps (waze & google maps) keep crashing the phone, not just the apps themselves. i have done everything -- refresh cache, reinstall maps apps, update OS, reset factory. nothing worked.
i regret ever getting this phone to replace my reliable n20. the only thing i didn't like about the n20 was when using the n20 in the dark and face unlock and fingerprint are enabled, it will use face unlock first and keep retrying until it times out -- which is long time. but other than that, the n20 is a whole lot better than this crap n30.
N20 has a much better screen and I picked one up for $40 last year from Metro. Only criticism is poor camera.
you could have put the $60 in NVDA calls
then today you could go buy a S24 Ultra
No this has no risk. So it's not like NVDA call. It's like a 6-month t-bill except the return is 233%. Not as high as NVDA call but still way higher than NVDA itself with no risk.
I also could have invested my life savings into Bitcoin whenever it first arrived, and then I wouldn't have to worry about silly things like buying a phone.
If I could buy BTC at one third of its price and I must hold on it for 6 months, I would sure have invested my life savings in it.
Same principal as this phone when it was sold at $60.

thanks for checking. i'm using waze and google maps online for actual navigation. as i'm driving, it crashes intermittently and i have to miss turns as it reboots. maybe, it's only my units that are facing this crappy behavior. but i never faced this issue on previous phones.
No problems here. I run killapps occasionally. Most of my internal memory is free. I installed maybe 10-15 apps. Google if other n30 experience the same. If not, maybe just yours. RMA it.
Yes it definitely works cuz I've had it on visible for about 7-8 months. Every carrier works on his phone and battery life is insane it charges super fast The only bad part is taking pictures at night. This is a great phone probably my favorite phone of all time.

Could be webview related. The answer would be in the logs.

N20 has worse screen and only 6GB ram.
worse: N20 OLED has flicker that hurts eyes. This LCD is flicker free.
Uhh everyone isn't sensitive to flicker. I've been using OLED since the Galaxy S1.

I've had an iPhone for so long now, it's interesting to see how the other half lives 😂
