Edit : I I bought mine in 2016 when they came out and still use it to this day, seemingly in the same condition as I bought it. I take my floating, tubing, and rafting. Floats well, sounds great, and loud enough for a group of 12 -15 floaters.

Also got one for me, shhh.
Compared to my Flip5, this one is bigger, lasts longer, and sounds better (a little more "full" in a room).
Pros:
Full sound
Gets quite loud
Battery life
Has a flap to cover all charge ports (the Flip5 is "waterproof" but has no USB-C port cover somehow)
Has an aux in connector (this is rare now)
Still a portable size/weight
Waterproof and it apparently floats
Cons:
Micro-USB instead of USB-C (fine but not ideal)
No tether or even place to hook a tether (my Flip5 is easy to hang off of stuff with the tether/carabiner)
Somewhat directional (the Flip5 is too)
Haven't found an app to change settings on it - the Flip5 has an app to rename it, silence info sounds, control multiple speakers, etc (I don't care about this though)
All in all, a good value (for me) at this price since it can play much longer on the beach or wherever vs the more portable Flip5. Horses for courses.
*If this had USB-C and an anchor point for a tether it would basically be my perfect speaker.
Even without USB-C, I think you get a lot for the money here. We'll see how it holds up. My last speaker was an Outdoor Tech Big Turtle Shell from when they were a Kickstarter, that lasted almost 10 years and got beat on regularly, taking many trips to the beach courts and survived a dog peeing on it early in its life.
