Most smaller UPS use 12V SLA batteries and larger models will use 24V SLA batteries.
On a smaller 12V model, you absolutely can just connect one of these up in place of the SLA battery and you'll be good to go. On a larger 24V UPS, you can connect these in series to get 24V and you're good there as well.
The charging profiles are a little different between SLA and LiFePO4 so it'll never charge the battery to 100% which isn't a bad thing. It's actually better for the battery over the long run to not always get to 100%. So you give up a tiny bit of capacity and end up with a battery that will last longer.
I have a bunch setup this was and we've been doing it in our business for years because we got tired of replacing SLA batteries all the time and wanted more capacity. Pretty simple upgrade to grab a UPS for next to nothing because it needs a new battery, connect one or two of these batteries and you've got a nice upgrade.
A few notes, if I'm mounting the battery externally like one of these would require, I'd add a fuse to the connection. Also, since a normal UPS is expecting a small battery, they don't tend to charge very fast. So it will take a really long time for the battery to get charged with the UPS. And between the different chemistry and capacity, any battery meter on the UPS won't mean a bunch and run time estimates that it may display will be wrong.
And finally, one thing I do especially on APC UPSs is disconnect the beeper. A lot of their UPSs will just beep all the time when on battery. So while it's open to get to the wires, I'll disconnect it at the same time.

Or, you may make the battery "mobile" and find a place in the towing car for it, and charge with a much shorter run of cables.
