The Hisense also is a better panel than this TCL...Hisense has full array dimming VS TCL which is direct lit only. Hisense is also 144hz native VS 120hz on the TCL.
My local BB has both panels on display and the Hisense has a better picture overall. I'm just waiting out the $1999 deal to come back and will pull the trigger.

The Hisense also is a better panel than this TCL...Hisense has full array dimming VS TCL which is direct lit only. Hisense is also 144hz native VS 120hz on the TCL.
My local BB has both panels on display and the Hisense has a better picture overall. I'm just waiting out the $1999 deal to come back and will pull the trigger.

This is the kind of thing you'd really have to go look at in person and see if it's acceptable to you or not. Obviously it's not going to have the best quality picture at that price point for that size.

Hisense U7: Full dimming array, 144Hz native, Wifi 6 support (for those with newer Wifi 6 routers).
This TCL : Direct Lit, 120hz native, No Wifi 6 support. It's still a better panel than last years model but no better than the Hisense.
The 100" Hisense was $2k with free mount/install back in Feb...

I didnt pull the trigger back then as I was still in the midst of my living room renovation and this dropped to $2399 just last week so I know the $2k deal will be around again.
But those that dont want to deal for the 100" hisense U7 deal to come back., by all means, jump on this.
I do have a older 75" TCL in my bedroom that's over 4 years old and zero issues so TCL makes solid products.
