If you want a wireless sound bar system just buy it you won't regret it.
Also have seen 3 deliveries of this unit. 1 mine 2 friends ALL had mangled boxes.
Shippers love to chuck these due to the size and weight of the box (it's heavy!)
But all 3 were perfect cosmetically and fully functional once unpacked. Samsung places mostly air and cardboard at the ends so most damage goes no where. Cheers!

The tradeoff is the 910D is 9.1.2 and not 11.1.4 (assuming you buy the 2 additional ATMOS speakers). However, to me, the HDMI 2.1 addition more than makes up for it at the same price point. Or, go for the Q990D and get it all for $1100 with the Samsung EPP discount.
I just bought the 910D for around $600 using the same EPP program, and the addition of HDMI 2.1 makes it a better value to me.

The tradeoff is the 910D is 9.1.2 and not 11.1.4 (assuming you buy the 2 additional ATMOS speakers). However, to me, the HDMI 2.1 addition more than makes up for it at the same price point. Or, go for the Q990D and get it all for $1100 with the Samsung EPP discount.
1- The 990c is superior to the 910d.
2- The 910D comes with rear speakers (no atmos) in the box and it is not wireless. You connect both speakers to to a module which connects to the main unit wirelessly. The rears are weak and can't be upgraded.
3- According to Samsung website, the 910d does not support HDMI 2.1 (look at the spec where they mention the passthrough rate is 60hz).
