What about foam floor protectors/mats from Harbor freight? I think you can get those in a 4-pack for like $10 which is enough to probably do several of these.

Thanks, finally caught this before they ran out at the sale price Smilie

They have both single and 2-packs at the sale price. Roughly the same cost per-unit for each, but just throwing it out there for people who come later, if it looks out of stock, check the 2-pack version as well to see if it's still on sale.

Can any current owner comment on the quality of these boxes? HD reviews show quite a few comments on the material quality being lower and feel cheap compare to others. TIA

The ones I ordered a few weeks back just showed up recently. I was thoroughly impressed, specially at this price. I am ordering more.

I don't think you can beat this T-stack case for the price.

This case here is the next level up in the DeWalt line. https://www.homedepot.com/p/DEWAL.../312134726
It's definitely a better built and sturdier box than T-Stack but it's $52, on sale.

You can run to Lowes or Ace and check out the T-Stack quality in person . But Amazon might run out of stock by then.

Now if you're considering eventually buying into the rest of the system, TStack might not be the best choice. IMO, Ridgid on sale is the best Bang for the Buck.

Home Depot just ran out of stock, so Amazon will probably raise their price shortly.

I just wait for packing foam (squishy stuff, not Styrofoam) from things I buy and cut my tools to those, they work way better than the pluck foam.

The Rigid is also good but homedepot hasn't ad a sale in years now for that one.

They were last on sale during the Holidays Oct- Dec 2023. $140 for the 3 piece stack.
Before that was May and June of 2023.

Right now you can get 3 piece for $149 . $79+ $40 + $30.

Ah.

It was the pro
https://slickdeals.net/f/15880033-select-home-depot-stores-ridgid-pro-organizer-large-50-medium-30-small-20-in-store-only

Haven't seen it since, its larger and has dividers and containers, probably stronger, I should have bought more.

That was the Clearance pricing for the old Gen 1 Ridgid boxes. Everything sold now is Pro Gear 2.0 .
