Reminding that I got this last time and after receiving it, emailed to say I expected the solar feature as it says it on the product page. I got a full refund, got to keep the watch, and got a $10 off next purchase. YMMV but I figure if your email is nice mannered you can get a similar result.

ETA: Actually, someone on Woot forums [woot.com] seems to have alerted them to the fact that it's not actually solar - I'm wondering if they're just pulling it down to edit the description and it'll be back up without it soon...

A heads up that during the previous deal I actually received the newer 5600UE model. Not sure if that was widespread or a mistake.

Yes. I took a screenshot but never needed it. Of course I was aware it's not the solar model (both from the picture and the model number). Still even if nothing came of the email, the watch is at a price I would have kept it anyway. I've even swapped the recessed button location and started looking up a metal case on AliExpress but haven't found one I liked enough to buy yet.

Mine is a 5600E... Not 5600UE. I guess you got lucky!

So how did they work You contacted them saying that it didn't have solar and they refunded you?

Yes. I believe I tried to use the chat but ended up having to send them an email. They emailed me back apologizing, saying they'd refund and the rest I said above. Again the watch is at a good price (cheaper than the Casio Royale on Amazon) so I would have kept it regardless. If I got the 5600UE (which actually has solar) like Spotmatic did above, I would have been very happy that's for sure. I'm tempted to try and buy another to see if I get it and if not I'll give it as a gift.
