I would much prefer wired than to change batteries out every 3-6 months like I had to on my blink doorbell.

Be aware that detection and recording intervals differ between plug in and battery version. There also a feature where a picture is taken every so often to provide the gap between recordings, unless you're on wired, the picture intervals are in mins instead of seconds.

Ive finally left the ring ecosystem to Eufy. Ring is dragging on AI and come on a camera in 2023 that is still only 1080p? I think the highest res ring offers is 2k which is crazy in this day and age.

Ring was king but they just are not pushing out the quality anything less than 4k in today's day and age sucks.

No internal storage also is a big loss for me. Good prices but the quality you're getting is potato camera

I ordered more stick up cams to have a little more coverage on my property, Cheaper than buying a battery by itself anyhow!

Not 100%, you don't need a subscription to view live video, but you have to subscribe to view all of the videos that they save from your device.

They used to be better, but they kept decreasing the free options and increasing the price of the subscription. Ditched them a few years ago.

Thats enough for me to pass on them, plenty of alternative options for almost all the features without monthly subscriptions from other providers.

Solar Panels work great though. I have two outdoor stick up cams with solar panels that have worked for over 2 years with never any power issues or having to touch them.

I'm replacing 2 of my pro version 1 for this reason.
I had the original Ring pro since they came out. maybe 6 years ago? It finally died last year and I replaced it with a Pro 2.

I hate it! The motion detection sucks! I even had them replace it under warranty and the new one is the same. I know it isn't the location as the Pro worked fine.

I have to link it to the flood light to record motion when the flood sees motion otherwise I miss most everything unless you are right on top of it.

If yours work, I would not replace them. I'm thinking of trying an original Pro or moving to another system like Nest.
