I just tried several times, 1 or 2 phones, different credit cards, different emails, no success. I keep getting "We cannot process your transaction" error.
I have a previous account with ST but I don't understand the error.
Any ways around that?

Can't use it after unlocking it? why?
The IMEI isn't accepted. Just like Cricket & ATT.

Even if activate it using another phone's IMEI and then insert the SIM card, it still doesn't work?

Wait for zapjb's answer. You sure know how to touch a person's sore spot .

I went to store and they scanned the $45 card and then the phone and it didn't take the $150 off the phone. Do we need to do the reverse?

These are all assumptions and speculations.., actually no one really knows until 60 days later... Att , visible not accepting IMEI is only during the activation process...it does NOT necessarily means it won't work on an activated att sim... Time will tell.

If you don't want to wait for zapjb to answer your question, read this thread in Howard Forums (don't know if you have to sign up) in which he described the problem he had when switching an active Visible SIM into a phone that Visible deemed InCompatible. It worked for 10 days then Visible shut off service to that phone. Even after he put the SIM back into the original phone, that wasn't the end of his problems with Visible.

I decided to bite the bullet & buy directly from Visible. The FCC complaint went nowhere. And I sold the phone in question.

After reading that Howard Forum thread, I must say you got some good pointers that you completely ignored.

Too bad you weren't more receptive to the advice.

(Are you going to accuse me of being a bot??? 🤣🤣🤣)

Based on the experts on the HF thread, I'm convinced your phone had issues (IMEI marked as stolen??).

The main point is that Visible does not have an issue with Metro phones. That's good news.
Not marked as stolen. It's on TM or VZW right now.

You said you sold the phone? And now you're saying you're using it on other providers?

Ok buddy, good night.
