Here is the response of Motorola to unlock of Tracfone Moto G Power 5G 2024 (XT2415V) in the Lenovo Forum. Basically, it states that Tracfone is only one that can solve the problem.

"Thank you for reaching out. I have received your IMEI via PM and I was able to check into this further. Tracfone, and many other carriers are now using Remote Unlock on some devices, this allows the carrier to unlock your device without the need for an unlock code. Your device uses this remote unlock method.

Since Tracfone stated the phone would be unlocked after 24 hours I would wait until that time has elapsed then try inserting a SIM (not a Tracfone SIM) in the device to see if it works. If it doesn't you may need to reach back out to Tracfone to see if something needs to be updated in their system to allow the unlock.

Unfortunately, Tracfone is the only one that can help with this concern. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Becky"

Better to just order it online at Straight Talk website then. You can get 2 of them for $75 and also get around $7 back from cash back shopping site.

Qlink caps speed at 1Mbps its pretty horrible service.
I don't know if the slow data speed is due to poor signal at my location (in city limit of Topeka, capital of Kansas) or because Qlink/T-mo throttled it. But I hardly use any data, less 100MB a month for MMS, so the slow speed doesn't bother me.

Clearly says it's backordered, not cancelled.

Ugh, nevermind, UPS is incompetent and must have mishandled the package. Not coming today anymore.
UPS had mine as coming today....until they actually got the package in their hands and they eventually updated the delivery date. Initially they give a date based on when the lable is created as they assume they will actually get the package that day....which they didn't. So we'll see them Friday. Unless they really do screw up.

They just let packages sit... in my case, the phones are frying in 105 degree weather, in the back of a truck. They came into town yesterday afternoon, before 5pm.

Eh, my Pixel 6a runs hotter than that 18 hours a day, every day. It's got the Tensor fever.

So you are saying they are all running off of wifi from your home internet connection?

The moto g power is only wifi 5 aka AC and not wifi 6 aka AX like the Pixel 6a and iPhone SE. So not unusual for it to be slower on wifi.

Is Wi-Fi 6 that different from 5?

Probably because I already have a long standing device on ST. But my 2 phones were automatically enrolled in auto-refill. Impossible to separate the 2 new phones from auto-refill without unenrolling my long stanging device. So to get it out of the way I made the 2 new lines inactive. And made sure with the CSR that my old device wasn't inactivated. The 2 new devices will be unlock eligible in 60 days still.
