Here is the response of Motorola to unlock of Tracfone Moto G Power 5G 2024 (XT2415V) in the Lenovo Forum. Basically, it states that Tracfone is only one that can solve the problem.

"Thank you for reaching out. I have received your IMEI via PM and I was able to check into this further. Tracfone, and many other carriers are now using Remote Unlock on some devices, this allows the carrier to unlock your device without the need for an unlock code. Your device uses this remote unlock method.

Since Tracfone stated the phone would be unlocked after 24 hours I would wait until that time has elapsed then try inserting a SIM (not a Tracfone SIM) in the device to see if it works. If it doesn't you may need to reach back out to Tracfone to see if something needs to be updated in their system to allow the unlock.

Unfortunately, Tracfone is the only one that can help with this concern. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Becky"

Better to just order it online at Straight Talk website then. You can get 2 of them for $75 and also get around $7 back from cash back shopping site.

I believe adding a 2nd or more line automatically turns on auto-refill. At least it did for me.

Checked in the app and it didn't on mine, another one of those YMMV things I guess.

Can I port out the number after activation and still eligible for the unlock after 60 days?
Replying so someone can see this and respond, I have the same question. I'm tempted to do so but I don't want to to risk it

Sorry I am kind of a newbie with these types of phone deals.
Is there any downside in buying this online from straight talk ?
Are all straight talk sims running on Verizon or is there a chance I might get some other carrier?

You really need to read the information provided in wiki, it's there for a reason.

Seems like a decent phone with some basic tasks. Had 60% battery life after set up. Also has a build date of 5/30/24. Super slow download speed of 0.15 Mbps.

It's a big YMMV, but I was able to order a 3rd and 4th off my account. I activated my 2nd to my account and then tried 3 & 4 and it worked.
Did you order with computer or the app?

Ordered two phones on June 14th. They keep telling me that the order is held up in warehouse as the phone is not available right now. But looks like folks who have ordered later have already received it.

So, I filed a dispute with my credit card for the money back. Straight Talk tells me that's the only way to cancel the order.

I just ordered a phone today and it also says being delayed. I would wait a couple of weeks before disputing with the bank. You have 4 months to file a chargeback.

I do have patience and have no problems waiting if there was proper information/response that I can trust.
I haven't received any acknowledgment email so far (yes I have checked spam). The order details does not have any details in Transactions. All it has is amount $79.15.

When I called, once they said the phone is already shipped and will receive it the next day. Other times they said it's back ordered. Now I am reading here that others who ordered later have received it. At this point, I am convinced that the order is in limbo and there's no point in waiting.
