"Thank you for reaching out. I have received your IMEI via PM and I was able to check into this further. Tracfone, and many other carriers are now using Remote Unlock on some devices, this allows the carrier to unlock your device without the need for an unlock code. Your device uses this remote unlock method.
Since Tracfone stated the phone would be unlocked after 24 hours I would wait until that time has elapsed then try inserting a SIM (not a Tracfone SIM) in the device to see if it works. If it doesn't you may need to reach back out to Tracfone to see if something needs to be updated in their system to allow the unlock.
Unfortunately, Tracfone is the only one that can help with this concern. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

"Mobile Services" is the key app that needs to be uninstalled along with any corresponding apps and games it might have installed. It used to be called something else like "DTIGNITE" but they rebadged it to "Mobile Services" to make it sound more innocuous. That's super scammy.
