Here is the response of Motorola to unlock of Tracfone Moto G Power 5G 2024 (XT2415V) in the Lenovo Forum. Basically, it states that Tracfone is only one that can solve the problem.

"Thank you for reaching out. I have received your IMEI via PM and I was able to check into this further. Tracfone, and many other carriers are now using Remote Unlock on some devices, this allows the carrier to unlock your device without the need for an unlock code. Your device uses this remote unlock method.

Since Tracfone stated the phone would be unlocked after 24 hours I would wait until that time has elapsed then try inserting a SIM (not a Tracfone SIM) in the device to see if it works. If it doesn't you may need to reach back out to Tracfone to see if something needs to be updated in their system to allow the unlock.

Unfortunately, Tracfone is the only one that can help with this concern. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Becky"

Better to just order it online at Straight Talk website then. You can get 2 of them for $75 and also get around $7 back from cash back shopping site.

I was under the impression that the phone must remain active (with a balance) for 60 days after initial activation to qualify for network unlock. Did Verizon/SL/TF changed their unlock policy?
The last time TF/Verizon/ST/etc changed their Unlock Poliy was on 11/23/2021 when Verizon bought TF. You can read their Unlocking Policy here: https://www.tfwunlockpolicy.com/w...BIS9nQSEh/

Notice that for phones activated on Verizon network on or after 11/23/2021, the wait time is 60 days but the number of required active days is NOT stated.

After the phone is unlocked, can I bring this phone over to Googe Fi then and use the esim? Can I take overseas and use esim also.
After unlocked, this phone's eSIM will work with Fi (which uses T-mo network). You'll have to find out if the phone has the bands used by the overseas provider(s) that you will use.

Unfortunately, currently TF and their sub-brands only support eSIM on iPhone12 and later. So, this phone's eSIM cannot be used with TF and sub-brands.
Oh yeah, I slipped. Would have been a lot easier activating with safelink.

I have trusted neighbors next to me. I can add instructions in my free ups account to "leave with next door neighbor" for no charge. I did that last month with my shipment from Total Wireless when we were out of town.
What you said is not "redirect ups delivery", just delivery instructions like"front door", or "next door" and users will be lucky if the ups delivery guy cares to read the delivery instructions at all and they have a good neighbor the very next door, not two houses away.

Hodaddy said "If you have a myups account (free to sign up) you can direct the shipment to a neighbor". You replied with "Not free though to redirect UPS delivery". What I did (leaving instructions in my account telling the ups driver to leave the shipment with a neighbor) is what Hodaddy suggested.

Adding a delivery instruction is not a "direct" to another address like a neighbor. In his case, "direct" a package from one address to another address like a neighbor is of course a "redirect".
Interpretating of his "direct" as a "redirect" makes much more sense than your "adding delivery instructions".

Not to mention that the definition of a neighbor can be anyone living in your neighborhood/community, which can be several hundred if not thousand feet away, not just the neighbor next door.

In addition, why bother adding a delivery instruction asking the UPS delivery guy to deliver to a neighbor next door and take the risk of the UPS delivery guy not reading the instructions at all when you can just ask your nice neighbor to come over to your front door and take away and keep the package for you, if you really have a nice neighbor.

Not a bad phone. Received a few minutes ago, made my call after activation, verified unlock date of 8/21, tossed it in the dresser and will open it back up on 8/21 to use as my daily phone!

Tried ordering new phones, wouldn't give them to me for free, with a plan selected.

I see that you can activate online, and the IMEI is on the box. Do we even need to open the box to activate it? Will it still unlock in 60 days if you activate it online but never turn the phone on or open the box?

If I were you, I would activate, make a call and then text for unlock date.

For the previous iPhone se 3rd generation last November, the phone unlocked after 60 days without opening the box, just needed to activate online or by phone.
