The promotion did not specify the year needs to be based on one Earth year. A year on Mercury is 88 days.

Just want to highlight the following paragraph in the post for everyone else under 100 years old (13 or older):
"Customers ages 13 and up can get a free Root Beer Float every year on their birthday, plus more exclusive deals on A&W's All-American Food like Burgers and Cheese Curds, by joining Rooty's Mug Club at awrestaurants.com/100 [awrestaurants.com]."

Honestly surprised there are that many folks over 100 in the states tbh.
Honestly, there are not when compared to the overall population.. US Census Bureau : As of January 2024, the U.S.A. Census Bureau estimated that there were 101,000 Americans aged 100 and older, which is 0.03% of the total population.

Which makes this deal a ridiculous YMMV !

In for 1. I'll just give me great grandson the free rootbeer float per day until I die which should be any day now.
Are you trying to take him with you?

A&W restaurants are extremely underrated. Their burgers are excellent, and their root beer on tap is a treat.

I'm rooting for Granny to get the deal even though she's 7 years too young!

There was some news publicity about a 104 year old woman who drank 3 Dr. Peppers a day. "Every doctor that sees me says they'll kill you, but they die and I don't."
I remember there was another really old dude who used to go on Letterman back in the day. The dude had only eaten hot dogs his entire life. I figured hot dogs would be worse for someone than a lot of sugar.

At 100 years old, everything should be free for you. 🎂

This doesn't sound very healthy for a 100 year old 😆

Honestly, if someone had asked me before learning this, how many 100+ year olds were here in the states, I would've said like no more than 5k. 100 years old is already around 20 years past the average life expectancy here.

They didn't think m this through. If they give away 50 free floats it will be a lot. They should have made the number something at least plausible. Like 80 or even 85. None over 100 is gonna take advantage of this.

Hopefully, they live super close. I would roll in every single day if I was 100.

I know a restaurant that lets folks over 80 accompanied by their grandparents eat free.

If you are 100 years old and still online and hear at Slickdeals. Thanks for making it even at this age. However this free rootbeer float for life is not something you want to maintain that age you work so hard to get to.
Diabeetus doesn't affect you once you're past 100.
