It is a manual adjustment for height using the hand crank, though several reviews state using a cordless drill to make it easier.
It is triple the price of the desk in this deal but incredibly solid. Solid butcher block top and metal legs. The butcher block is over an inch thick and mine has no hint of wobble at any height.
There are several versions of this desk on Home Depot's site. If you're planning to sit at the desk, this single drawer works better for that than the double drawer versions. The single drawer is only available in the 52" wide version. All sizes are available without drawers I think but having storage was important to me. Some YouTube reviews talk about just removing the bottom drawer on the two drawer versions to better allow sitting but that leaves a gap and doesn't look aesthetically pleasing to me. YMMV.
Since the legs and frame are metal I am using magnetic hooks and a magnetic power strip for cord management. Some reviews suggest magnetic spice racks for cord management but I already had hooks and using with zip ties works well.
While this is more expensive you get a decent piece of butcher block, manual height adjustment that shouldn't break or just stop working like an electric one, and a very heavy and sturdy desk. Assembled is required but there are videos on YouTube that explain the assembly.
I had mine delivered to a Home Depot store so I could inspect it before leaving the store in case it was damaged. No issues with mine.

The divider is at the middle of the table and isn't intrusive at all. I haven't had any issues with mouse placement or things getting stuck etc.
