The thing that puts the Dewalt above the Husky for me is the amount of sockets you get. They are also all 6 points, even the 1/2 inch drive sizes which most sets at this price skip, and you get standard and deeps for them. From a pure socket per dollar standpoint this is hard to beat.

Only once the price has been lower than this price and it was 5 dollars cheaper which made it FP with 150+ thumbs. Dont miss inform people.

I got this set when it was front page last time. The set is great but I got a wonky bit/screwdriver. They mailed out another one immediately after I emailed. I am a Husky fan, but replacement was as easy as giving them the serial number.

That's how they get you to buy the DeWalt box, It comes in the trays that fit the DeWalt box perfectly. I got this set in December for $68 then bought the box for another $55. Very nice tool set though I was happy with it.

I bought that version (shipped) and had to return it twice because the tough case would break during shipping. Third one was broken as well, but DeWalt finally agreed to ship me a replacement tough case.

I wouldn't be surprised if these kits were returns from broken tough cases.

You could try a warranty claim with DeWalt. I've had to, it was easy enough.
