These are particleboard. Have had the edging fall off after about a year and then moisture ruins it and it flexes in between braces under load.

The wire set is better here https://www.homedepot.com/p/DEWAL.../303512198

I actually replaced my solid one with the kobalt black ones because they are 24" deep to match other industrial shelves here

which more closely matches the rest of my shelves that i love from here

or if your looking for a full height version of the 18" depth the muscle rack version is also nice, we have them at work.

I just wish the members mark ones were available in 72h and 48w

Hmm. The rack I have is not particleboard, but what looks to be PVC. They've actually been extremely durable of the past 5 years.

Guess they aren't getting my business today.

Update: Tried again a bit later and it went through.

These are awesome, I have two… one like this and the other is the same thing but with thick wire shelves. Really tempting to get a third one even though I absolutely do not need it.

I have also... The thick wire shelves in my opinion r way better... I got them at home depot... They keep going on sale.. n its kinda never announced... But when I'm in there I check n if so I got all 4 of them for between $109-$125 ... Definitely worth it for the quality... But I took the one back with the deck n got another with wire shelves

Just curious - why do you like them better? I have a cheap unit someone gave me with holes in the shelves and it's annoying because you can't put anything small on it (like the screws to go with a part you pulled off), so I thought the solid shelves seemed like a plan

I think it's because overall they're just sturdier with less flex.

I have both and I think the deck is better. The wire shelves are fine but small items will fall through. I ended up putting flat cardboard over the wire shelves.

1500 pounds per shelf is not bad at all for the price. Still not enough to hold my gold blocks on though.

depends a bit on what you're storing. for plastic tubs or large lumber and whatnot, it won't matter... for some stuff, you don't want to have the holes/grid because it can difficult to slide irregular items or because smaller items may fall through.
