It's closer to the Coleman 316 quality. A couple weeks back I came across a video where they do a comparison of the top 38 cooler for ice durability and it lasted a week before the ice completely melted which was as long as the Coleman 316. Ok I'm not actually expecting this to compete with yeti or arctic (so no one gets that impression)

but if you had to compare is this actually approaching the same league of performance /durability or is it the Coleman quality typical cooler restyled to look like a yeti

This definitely isn't a "bring to the beach" type cooler. It's a plop it down in the back of the truck, camper, or boat and sit there for a few days cooler.

I got a Coleman for infrequent use and not looking for another cooler. However, watching this video for entertainment!

I have a big 15-person camping trip planned in October, so I definitely need to grab a cooler between now and then. To the experts out there: should I pull the trigger on this now or does the price become more discounted after the summer months have passed?

This is a boat cooler, notice the fish measuring tool on the top? They usually get affixed between four 90 degree corners bolted to the deck, wheels would get in the way.
