These are really sweet, even more so then the fruity varieties because it lacks the sourness of fruits. Because of this, I can't eat them on their own. Instead, I break them up and put into plain yogurt, homemade vanilla ice cream (with less sugar), cereal with milk and even sandwiched between toast.

I buy these as emergency foods. This and water goes a long way. I used to keep them in my work bag and they'd last months, it'd be crumbs but it was still better than nothing.

For an emergency, these are pretty handy - not healthy, but extremely handy quick food source and I love the taste too.

I always have a stash of these in my garage and this deal comes around twice a year for the brown sugar cinnamon ones.
