I bought the trailmaker goretex last time this deal came around for about the same price. The tongue and heel do stick up quite a bit and annoy me if I'm wearing ankle socks. With 1/4 cut socks, that issue goes away. They are true to size in my experience and very comfortable. I work on a concrete airport ramp all day and they've done well for my 10 hour shifts. The goretex keeps the rain that accumulates on the concrete at bay. That being said, they don't breathe very well simply due to the nature of being water resistant. The treads are quite deep but don't feel to bendy when walking on firm surfaces such as concrete. For $60, they are worth it and are well made.

I've these. Get 0.5-1 size up. Otherwise very difficult to wear them.

I bought some gore tex Terrex Swift hikers during another deal, which are advertised as waterproof. Got them to walk the dog in the morning. Waterproofing, which is why I got them, wore off after a few months and now my feet get soaked in just damp grass. Contacted customer support and they told me to submit a warranty claim and then denied my claim. Won't be buying any more 'waterproof' shoes from Adidas.

Same issues with Terrex Swift GTX. Blanket denial of legitimate warranty claims is standard practice at Adidas. Borders on fraud. They were more responsive to a BBB complaint, covering a replacement pair after a couple rounds of back and forth.

Exactly. How is it not false advertising?

Bought 2 pairs of terrex in a past deal for work. Don't think they were Gortex, but may have been. Threw both out bc my feet sweat like crazy in them with very damp socks by the end of the day. Never had a problem like this with any other shoe, including work boots or LL Bean duck boots. Think it might be a reaction to whatever material they use

I'm on my 4th pair of GorTex Adidas Terrex hikers. Use them for my daily dog walks at the park and occasional hikes. They handle rain, snow, streams, whatever I throw at em and they have all held up well. Currently have the Free Hiker, the boost mid is super comfortable.

Can't speak to this model but I've been happy with other Adidas Terrex GorTex hikers.

Try the goretex solar guide 5. My favorite dog walking shoes ever.

I am looking to replace some Asics with Gore Tex, which also had disappointing longevity for waterproofing. So maybe you just need to lower expectations with these.

This was my experience with Adidas warranty as well although I just gave up after the blanket denial of a sole delamination.

Can't you still summit warranty claims direct through gore?

Always looking for GoreTex deals. Pool guy, on feet all day and always wet locations. Count me in for a pair 😅

Shame on them. Try a BBB complaint if you have the time. Adidas claims wasted my time requesting photos they clearly didn't even look at, so I just copied them to BBB.

Maybe, but in my case even the shoe fabric was defective and tore right away on a new pair. Gore-Tex would rightly blame Adidas for that.
