10 is a nice round number. 9 guitars is just...odd.

Must resist............................

I just keep telling myself I can only play one at a time - no need for a 10th guitar.

Found a couple decent demos of tones you can get out of this. Has an older school vibe to it for sure…

as someone who primarily has played metal and punk over the years i kinda want to get these more beatles-esque style guitars and do something like record deathcore with them, just something way out of left field to play live in drop A

I got the green one of these on a previous SD. I think they've been sitting in a warehouse somewhere for a while because the one I got was severely in need of a proper setup. The neck needed some relief and had to adjust the bridge height. Not a huge deal if you can do it yourself.

Also I am kind of disappointed with the knobs and pots. The plastic just feels so cheap compared to how great the rest of the instrument is.

Overall this is a no brainer for that price though this guitar sounds great once setup.

Crazy price on this. I got Musician's Friend to match $399 on the yellow one just a few days ago and it just arrived. I like the yellow better, but would have snagged this for a whole hundred less if this was the price at the time.

Mine was perfect except a little bit of the finish around the F holes is flaking a bit, on the more expensive models they put binding there. I agree there must have been a lot of these sitting around, because despite mine looking really great, the frets had some mild corrosion on them- nothing that can't be polished, but you know the way it looks when a guitar sits for a long time untouched. They didn't have that new from factory shine. Overall I'm really happy with it and $299 is a steal for this guitar.

Billy Duffy of "The Cult" rocked hard on Gretsch.

On my Gretsch guitars I usually change the knobs to the metal ones with the arrow. They are available online in silver, gold and black and I think they are better looking and add a classic Gretsch touch

Mine had a scratch and button top were detached on two buttons. They gave me $30 cashback. Overall, too much guitar for what I paid. Love that thing

The 2622T has BroadTron pickups. The 2622T P90 has FideliSonics. The 2640T has Super HiloTrons.

Thank you. I'm somewhat of a noob to understand the difference so think I made a good purchase last week 🙂

Yea thats the case with a lot of these rebuilds. Similar thing as with PRS' SE lineup and Silvertone reissues. Nothing ever sounds like the original but the gap is very small compared to the price difference
