3cr13 steel for all three blades. Cheap steel but cheap price. Pretty good deal here for some "keep it in the car" knives

Hey buddy, this is Dave the local knife sharpener. You know I have 2 kids that need to go to college and a wife with a taste for purses. SO MIND YA OWN BID NESS.

For the those who fail to grasp the obvious, this is humor. I don't sell knives, sharpen them, and I don't have 2 kids on their way to college. However, my wife does have a taste for purses, much to my chagrin.

It's kind of surprising they can manufacture and sell these 3 for an apparently normal price of $23.57. Getting those old time late night 'HSN' knife show vibes & nostalgia right now except these might not be trash.

I've got a couple older Kershaws (my favorite is the all-stainless Scallion) with assisted open and they are very satisfying and easy to flip open with hardly any effort. I'd pick these up but I legit don't need more unless I'm just giving most of them away

I like a Leatherman in the car now. Never know when you might need to rip a damaged wheel well out on the tight left shoulder of a rush-hour freeway after someone hits you during a blizzard - a pair of pliers and a little saw can really save your day.

Wave+, Skeletool, Signal - all worth taking a look at, especially if you appreciate tools. Keep an eye out for deals here though because they've... gotten more expensive lately.

My skeletool pliers cracked at the hinge the first time I used them. Leatherman refused to do anything about it. I was not impressed

Mine did the same thing. Sent them to Leatherman and they sent me a new pair out.

Maybe it's good beaters for practicing sharpening skills? I would feel a little bit silly using sharpening equipment that I'd imaging is much more expensive, and would get sick of using it when I have better knives but I suppose if someone was to teach a kid how to do it with their first knife it may not be a bad way to go...

I am sure the Scallion is way better than these knives. Is this the first time Kershaw did not even bother to name the cutlery? They will be bad I am sure but still tempting for $15. Recently spent over $300 at Kizer's fathers day sale for some very nice knives. Should be interesting to compare.
