Great deal but these erasable pens have ink that run out 2x faster than regular pens.

These work by raising the temperature of the ink, which causes it to disappear. The friction of rubbing causes the temp to rise - hence the name. In theory you could rub one side of the page and erase from the other.

I teach fifth grade, and these are absolutely my favorite pens for working on my overhead.
I've even erased all the non-permanent Ink by sticking a whole packet in the warming oven.
Of course, I would never suggest doing the same!

The erasable pens work really really well. It erases so well. The only problem is the ink seems to dry out very very quickly . I don't remember how long. Maybe a couple months. For me, it always dries out before it runs out but I don't use pens frequently

I wonder if the "clicker" style is the problem?

I bought a 10-pack of the "capped" style as a gift for around $5 in 2020, and when I saw this post, I thought about getting some more ... but I can't say I'm interested in having a $18 pack of 15 dry out.

I like the clicker better. I felt like the ones with caps dried out faster which I thought was odd.
I did watch a video on putting them in a freezer to restore ink flow. I just tried it the other day and it did seem to work not at a hundred percent but was able to write again. Will experiment more now that I know it works.

These really are the only multi color erasable pens out there that are any good. Really nice for drawing out diagrams for my electronics projects. Other brands might have a broader selection of colors but they are barely usable especially the colors Pilot doesn't have. Now if only Pilot could perfect the erasable highlighter, they need to make one that lasts for more than 1/6th of a book...

These pens helped me get good grades in college, which helped me get a good job (ignore people who claim that making friends is the most important thing to do). Just be careful that you don't erase what's on the other side of the paper or beneath the page.

I appreciate the advice and the warning. Could you clarify about how you could erase what is on the other side or beneath the page?

The erasure works by friction. When you're rubbing the paper, it'll be rubbing the other side against the pages beneath.

Thanks OP! Was looking for a deal on these pens for my RocketBook system. Old school, but once you start using it, the ease of recall of documents ... perfecto!
