Still haven't received the batteries from the Costco Memorial Day sale. Supposedly Ecoflow has backordered the batteries.
Yet my credit card was charged the whole amount and my Costco order marked "Complete". This has happened to many people.

I have the Ecoflow DPU and have been looking for extra DPU batteries to upgrade it. The cheapest DPU battery I've found is $2339 from EarthTech Products using the EF10 coupon. I have been waiting for a price of $2200 or below. Does anyone know a DPU battery for sale near that price? Thanks.

I got my inverter after a few days batteries took about 10 days. I still don't have my trolly yet. As of last week. They said they just got a shipment from China but don't have an eta for me.

Should qualify for 30% federal tax credit:

"For the Residential Clean Energy Property Credit, the following requirements apply:

solar water heating property expenditures, solar electric property expenditure, small wind energy property expenditures, geothermal heat pump property expenditures, and battery storage technology expenditures: the home must be located in the United States and used as a residence by the taxpayer (includes renters);"

Would I be right in my understanding that this really wouldn't work for a whole house for a long period of time? It can only output 7.8 kw max and only has 18kwh which means at full load, it would last for about 3 hours? I understand that once the power goes out, we cut down on energy usage but my point is that if I wanted a whole house power backup in case of a storm, this may not be an ideal setup (probably why their advertising shows 3 of these hooked up together and also allows for a portable gas generator to tie in)?

I have a 4500 sqft home in michigan and during spring and fall on a typical day my energy consumption is approximately 35 kwh so an 18kwh battery would last approximately 12-15hrs. It would vary of course based on your usage

During summer conditions with air conditioning can push close to 80kwh on extremely hot days but averages 45-50. This battery might get you thru the night most days, assuming you have enough solar power to charge it

I just looked at my energy bill from last month and running my A/C I used 326 kWh for the whole month. Averaging that over 31 days i get 10.5kWh / day so this thing would last me a day and a half almost, assuming I changed nothing about my usage habits.

7.8kw of draw is a lot of power.... you're not meant to be maxing this thing out but you are correct that if you did you'd kill it pretty fast.

Man, as a Californian, I am super curious how much other Americans pay for electricity. If I used 35kwh per day, it would be something like $500 of just electricity per month.

Our average is closer to 8-10 kwh a day...

well for me it would be $4.55 per day, so around $140 a month @.13 cents a kwh

That's rough we pay .08/kwh in summer and 0.05 the rest of the year. In Atlanta.

70kwh per day in Texas, 3.1k sqft house, last bill was $210. The difference between TX and CA is that we have to run the AC here in the summer heat.

That sucks. You should not be charged fully until they ship your batteries. Costco needs to step in and prevent this type of situation from happening.
