I've been eyeing the ninja wildfire outdoor grill for my
Patio. The smoking function isn't that important to me. Is this essentially the same without the smoking function?

Would this be a good alternative for outdoor use?

This unit can be used outdoors but probably needs to be stored indoors.

I bought this model a couple of times now. One lasted about 8 months and was replaced with same model. It too broke within 6 months this time. The issue I had kept saying to close the lid, even though it was already closed. I spoke to their customer service and they acknowledged the defect. This was a year or two ago, so maybe they've fixed the problem.

Avoid products where the picture shows the device not being used how it would be used. Would be better marketing to show something being cooked that would actually be cooked rather than a finished burger, bun and all.
