Excellent compact Full-Frame body.

Ugly parts up front: Single card slot, no IBIS, weakish battery life, prone to overheating in hot environments.

Good parts: eyeAF that's very sticky and robust, amazing dynamic range, stellar low light performance (entirely usable @ ISO 25,600), 40fps burst rate, uncropped 4K recording, pre-burst @ 30fps 0.5 sec before shutter, automatic light flicker detection and compensation. And a bunch of other features that a mere 5-7 years ago would've cost many thousands more, if you could get at all.

For a less advanced user, I'd probably lean towards the Canon R7 instead. Similar price, larger body (easier to grip for many), better battery life, benefits of APS-C sensor (access to EFS/RFS cheaper & lighter lenses, 1.6x crop factor giving a bit more reach with telephoto), dual card slots, and IBIS.

Performance is just one notch lower than the R8, but reasonably comparable -- and for the average user, either will be more camera than they'd need for a long time.

Honestly, I'd skip this deal. The included memory card is only V30, whereas you need a V90 to take advantage of this camera's exceptionally fast shooting capability.
