Sorry to threadcrap, but:

That's why they don't prep the drinks in front of you; only blend them. They pour a LOT of white sugar into every smoothie, or equally sugary fruit juice and/or sherbet and then market it as healthy. And some exec made the genius decision a few years ago to do away with their Splenda substitution option, around the same time they did away with any good coupons and promos. I haven't been back since. Wendy's has healthier options and far better deals (and that's not saying much); a jr. frosty has less sugar and more protein than a small one of these smoothies.
Maybe ask for no added sugar? I make fruit smoothies at home without adding sugar and it tastes good. Adding sugar masks the natural taste of the fruit. Same with fruit jam. I've been buying the 50% less sugar variety jam and I think it's a lot better because I can taste the actual fruit more. Now I can't go back to the full sugar variety it's just way too sweet.
Frosty Jr is 06 oz
Jamba small is 16oz (like a grande at Starbucks)

No a SMALL frosty is 12oz, a junior is tiny, like 6oz. whomever compared this to a junior frosty has to remember this is almost 3x the size
You're right. I'll edit my original comment

Wow, 37 grams of sugar in a small?
Ya know ..average banana has 14g of sugar alone. Jamba doesn't really need to play games to add sugar

Amazing people still don't understand that "natural " doesn't always equate healthy

They are basically a sherbet smoothie with a hint of juice

If you want something better for you, it looks like Nekter Juice Bar will have a buy one get one 50% off smoothies in their app. It's not nearly as big of a discount, but they use real fruits and either coconut water or freshly made cashew (just cashews and water), so you don't get all of the added sugar, guar gums, preservatives, etc.

Check ingredients, says juices. So yeah, added sugars as well.

It's another gimmicky smoothie shop. They add agave nectar to smoothies, which is basically added sugar.

They are not adding white sugar to their smoothies while they prep.

It's funny how trends change.
I remember in the late 90s every suburban housewife and teen frequented Smoothie King, Jamba Juice, Tropical Smoothie.
Now I don't know anyone who goes regularly.
I might go to an airport location occasionally when traveling but that's about it.
The prices are insane, I wonder what they cost in the late 90s...

Agree. However, minimum wage is like $18 there and they have a bunch of young female workers (typically minorities) at the ones in LA I've been to in the last few years. They raising prices to keep up with the times it seems… inflation I guess

I won't do it unless it's close by. Last time I wasted a trip when the store shutdown online order with coupon code during promotion.

Jamba used to be great back in the day. Used to love going there. Now their prices are absolutely insane and their service/practices are super sus. The last FP Jamba deal I placed an order for a "free" smoothie (plus tax/fees) and the order went through and the email said ready for pick up. When my wife went to pick it up, not only would they not give it to her, they bullied her into buying it for full price, AND they didn't refund my sales taxes/fees for my original order. They'll go under soon, and deserve it.

Tropical Smoothie Cafe is doing a free 24oz smoothie w/ the purchase of an entree or bowl. You can order online too, no need to wait in line and order in person.
