We have the biggest sign you could think of on top of our front porch container. 75% of our packages still end up thrown on the ground or thrown on *top of the sign that says "PACKAGES INSIDE PLEASE" We had hoped it would cut down on porch pirates.

Works great for the delivery drivers to leave packages in. Even enough room to leave some water and snacks in there for them. Have had ours since last fall? It helps to put a sign on the outside of the box asking them to put packages in the box too.

If it's like my setup, the sign is on the lid of the box so you can only read it when you're walking up to it. Just driving by on the street it just looks like a resin box/bench. It works very well other than the occasional freelance after hour Amazon driver that just tosses the package at the door without seeing the sign.

The signs are available on ebay and other places. Mine is 12x8" with all of the delivery logos and instructions to place packages inside the box, I just drilled 4 holes and bolted it to the lid.
